About Kristi

I’ve been working as a professional organizer in the Metro Atlanta area for 22 years. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia, and I’m also certified as an AMI Montessori teacher. During my Montessori teacher training, I learned how crucial order is, especially when working with kids using the Montessori method. It made me realize that everyone, young or old, needs some order in their lives to feel calm and secure. My approach to organizing is a mix of creativity and practicality. I enjoy finding creative solutions for messy spaces while keeping my clients’ design preferences in mind. My main goal is to turn homes and workspaces into organized, happy, and productive places. My love for tidying things up started way back when I was a little girl, grocery shopping with my mom. While she would place items in the cart I would organize it like a store.

Our family would have a big clean up and purge day every six months. My dad would crank up some great music and we would get to work. My sister and I would clean out our closet, drawers and under our beds, where we would shove clutter when we were in a hurry to clean up our room. We’d pass on the stuff we out-grew to Calvary Children’s Home which taught me how the stuff we let go can bring joy to others when you share it with them.

Later, as a Montessori teacher, I got a firsthand look at how much a calm, organized space can make us all feel secure and at ease. That’s why I couldn’t resist stepping into the world of professional organizing. It’s so fulfilling to work one on one with people to reimagine their spaces, mixing in their style with some organization.

Now, 22 years into being Atlanta’s neighborhood organizer and personal assistant, I still love helping people clear out the clutter, streamline their busy lives, and just make their homes that happy, peaceful spot to come back to. It’s pretty awesome to lighten someone’s load with a helping hand or a managed home. Transforming a house into a haven? That’s what I love to do!
